SILVERCHAIR AT KLUBBEN; STOCKHOLM; SWEDEN
APRIL 24TH 1999
I WAS THERE!

At 4 p.m. on this very Saturday, me and my friend Magdalena had found our way to Klubben, at Fryshuset in Stockholm. There were already about nine people there waiting but the concert would start at 7 p.m. Forplaying was Fuel 238 (USA), which whom I'd never heard of. But they were ok. 'Made my ears get used to the high bass. But still, I wish I'd brought earplugs. Before everything, during the 3 hours me and my friend waited we got to know some nice girls standing next to us in line. They'd been standing there from 1 p.m. and two of them since 10 a.m! But they'd got to see SC coming to Klubben earlier. So they thought it was worth it.
While standing in line, some journalists from Swedish Musikbyrån came and interviewed a girl next to us. She was apparently a hugh fan since long gone. She knew a guy the journalists had with them called Mikael who were gonna meet SC before/after the concert. So she got the oppertunity to ask him some questions.
What else happend before the concert? Well, there were some SC-wannabes there, at least 2 of them looked like Daniel Johns, and two of the girls we'd talked to took a picture of him, only because he looked like Daniel. The guy and his friends laughed about it, but it was pretty funny so..
I got inside Klubben as number 7 in line and got a very good spot infront of the scene. In the middle and as near the stage you could get. Two girls behind me seemed really envious since they started making plans on removing me and when I told them I had heard their plans they started making fun of me, at least trying. That was pretty amusing to me. They later almost killed me trying to get near the stage but I survived or else I wouldn't be writing this.
You can tell Chris is used to have long hair when you see him playing. He acts like he was headbanging with his 'long hair'.
And, most of you already now, but I have to comment, they are so short! And I almost thought Daniel looked lake 15, 16. But what does it matter; They play fantasic! And they make fantastic music!
Fuel 238's singer stood right infront of me. But when the SC-crew were redoing the scene for SC, Daniel came to stand a few meters away from my spot. But ofcourse he went to different sides sometimes, so I got some real close-ups. But most pix are from his left side, if that even matters.
If anyone reading this, who were on the concert, I would like him or her to help me remember the playlist. This is what I remember:

There were 17 songs totally. And everyone there rocked to the music. I nearly lost my breathing several times. I got a few wounds too.. But it was worth it.

Me and my friend had each bought a rose to give to the guys if we got near the stage. But in the action of coming inside Klubben I lost mine. But my friend didn't really get as close as I to the scene so she gave me her rose to give away. After a long while I managed to flirt with Chris so that he came closer to get it from me. I must add, he was very cute when he seemed to blush a bit. Don't think I'm silly now, but wouldn't you be happy to get a personal smile from Chris or Ben? (I got one from Ben too). Ok, personal..., you might wonder, but ...eyy...never mind :) I'll keep it to myself.
SC started playing at about 9.20 p.m. And they playing until 11pm. Afterwords everybody drank a whole lot of water and I was soaked in sweat and water. I bought a poster 200cmX90cm after the show. I got home around 1am and later woke up to terrible news...
